In the U.K., “snapper” is slang for lady parts.
I’ve been giggling about that since the introduction of Red Snapper, and I guess I’m tired of laughing at it by myself.
I’m English, and I had no idea! …Now I’ll have to go back and snigger at it on every page!
I think it’s a double meaning, in this case. According to urbandictionary.com a snapper is, “a vagina with a muscular vaginal wall, for extra sensation,” (definition 1) and also, “used in North Dublin, Ireland, as slang for a baby.” (definition 4)
As the hot, sexy, athletic, redheaded great-great-grandchild of the victim, both definitions probably apply to Red Snapper.
Or we could all be over thinking this. ;-D
Oh those wacky Brits and their sexual slang that the creators of this comic were probably not aware of. Probably.
